Happy New Year! Can you believe it’s 2011?!
Every year as the new year approaches, it’s standard procedure to look back over the 365 days that just passed. We recall the highlights that made us laugh, cry, and shake our heads in 2010, such as these:
• The BP Oil Spill
• The Haiti Earthquake
• The Volcano in Iceland
• Apple launches the iPad
• The FIFA World Cup
• Justin Bieber tops the charts
Some notable individuals America lost this year, include:
• Rue McClanahan
• Dennis Hopper
• John Wooden
• Gary Coleman
• Leslie Nielsen
• Elizabeth Edwards
Through the highs and lows, 2010 has been a productive year for Remaking Memories. A new website has been created, hundreds of pendants have been made, new products have been developed, new equipment has been purchased, and much more. In honor of the New Year, I’ll be hosting another giveaway. It’ll be another 2011 Datebook, similar to the one I gave away for this giveaway, as well as a soldered red stained glass pendant.
As usual, entering the giveaway is simple, just answer this question: Looking back on 2010, what’s one of your favorite memories?
If you’d like additional entries into the giveaway, here are some more options. If you do any of the following things, be sure to come back here and comment for each one so you receive your additional entry. You don’t have to be a new follower or fan to enter.
1) Follow my blog (1+ entry)
2) Like my Facebook page (1+ entry)
3) Follow Remaking Memories on Twitter (1+ entry)
The giveaway ends January 16, 2011 at 12pm Pacific Time. Winner will be selected using www.random.org.
My favorite memory is buying our house and getting our dog. I know they’re two separate things but they happened around the same time so I’m combining them:)

My favorite memory this year was taking a family vacation to New Smyrna Beach, FL with my parents, my sister, and my nephew and niece – we left the husbands at home.

My best memory of 2010 is attending my grandparents’ 60th wedding anniversary celebration. It was great seeing family members who I hadn’t seen for a while and also celebrating such a positive milestone.
What a great memory – I also celebrated my grandparent’s 60th wedding anniversary in June! I just LOVE seeing them together and still so happy!
My best memory for 2010 was watching the triplet’s personalities grow and develop. We hear first words, saw first potty training opportunities, gave up passies, and so much more. But most importantly, we saw the triplets become “friends” who watch out for each other and look to each other!

My favorite memory from last year was adopting a dog from a shelter for the kids. They had begged for years so it was so fun watching their faces light up when we went to pick one out.
One of my fav memories of 2010 would be buying a new house!

My favorite memory of 2010 occurred during one of the weekly outdoor concerts put on by the town I live in. Each week, they feature a different type of music and my favorite is always the week the Beatles cover band plays. This past summer, my little guy, 20 months old at the time, had been running free as always. But when my favorite Beatles song , Rain, began, he stopped in his tracks and ran to me. Holding up his arms, he begged, “Dance, Momma!” It’s been our song ever since.

My favorite memory of 2010: Graduating from university and going on a two week roadtrip with my favorite people. Then coming back and finding a wonderful job, in a new city. What an adventure it’s been!
